Transforming a non-profit to disrupt the status quo and double their donor base

Challenge

Bat Conservation International initially came to us for a brand refresh that would help them stand out among traditional conservation nonprofits, mobilize donors, and raise awareness of their mission to end bat extinctions worldwide. Since then, we have continued to support with new marketing initiatives and ongoing brand development.

Solution

Working closely with BCI, we created a distinct brand personality that represents their unapologetic, science-forward approach, and matches their unwavering mission to create meaningful change. To ensure the new brand identity was consistent at every consumer touchpoint, we revitalized the website, developed a key messaging platform, and captured their new visual identity in brand guidelines. Most recently, we worked with the BCI team and their collaborators at the North American Bat Conservation Alliance to develop the first ever State of the Bats Report, which brings the latest conservation findings for the continent’s bats such as population & biodiversity changes, top threats, and ecological & economic benefits to life in an eye-catching report (available in print and online).
