In 2019, Black Birch bottled their first seasonal varietal, Bloom No. 19—a fruity, effervescent wine with a gorgeous pink color. In 2020, we updated the label for their second run of Bloom, this time aptly named Bloom No. 20. And most recently, a third update—demonstrating that this wine is beloved and here to stay.
Approach
This limited edition wine has become a fan favorite and a recurring champion. For the label, we put the vibrant color of the liquid front and foremost. The hand drawn flowers are seasonal and found at the winery when the wine is released. The color of the flowers challenge and juxtapose the liquid color—evoking feelings of surprise and delight. We leveraged metallics, transparency, and thoughtful production techniques to ensure this bottle stands out on shelf year after year.
