BRIGADE Posters
We challenged our Creatives to reimagine BRIGADE’s iconic “B” logo in the form of a poster. The challenge was intended to not only show off our team’s outstanding abilities as designers, but also to highlight what BRIGADE means to some of them individually.
The results are amazing – view each of them in the gallery below, as well as a few words from the artists about their work. We hope you enjoy them both as artistic accomplishments and as tributes to the decade past and decades to come at BRIGADE!

HANG TRAN
I did an imaginary landscape based on the places around here from Smith College to the water tower I pass every day on my commute. I’m inspired by the soft palette of the Solar Moon backgrounds and love holographic colors.

THOM DUDLEY
My poster is the spiritual exemplification of BRIGADE’s obsession with minding the smallest details to create rich and beautiful work. I was mainly inspired by “fancy” printing of the early 1900s (especially currency design and Sanborn fire map folio covers), cartoonist Chris Ware, and Classical Revival architecture.

My inspiration comes from the honey bees: they reflect the teamwork and various skills we each possess, with the creative nectar wrapping and dripping down the letter B to signify the rhythm we all know and love.
